Sorry about going off topic, but the DC Direct message board is just cluttered with nonsense, and you guys are serious about your comics! I would like to get some PVC sets as I think the statues would look great on the bookshelves right in front of the respective archives. However, the DC Direct page of the DC Comics website does not seem to have previously released PVC sets, just current ones. Can you guys recommend some online stores that carry older sets? Also, would you know what sets have been issued? (I'm looking for PVC sets that go along with GA & SA archives, not post-Crisis sets). As far as as I know, the following sets have been offered: JLA Any advice would be most appreciated!! thanks in advance, Will C.

There was a Metal Men set...also New Teen Titans. Can't think of any others besides Dark Knight Strikes Again, which you say wouldn't interest you. Oh, and a Sandman set that falls in the same category. I've got a boxed Legion set in my closet that I'd let go for well below retail. You can e-mail if you want a piece of that action. I think that's all of them though. - David IP: Logged |

I believe there was also a JSA 3, with Flash, Green Lantern and some JSA villains. -Scott IP: Logged |

I haven't looked up for you but I'm 100% sure you can find much more than one site that has lists of pvc sets. These were very nice. I only went with Supes related (which is Smallville) but more than once they caught my eyes. The last one I ever saw is about the Dark Knight (not sure about the name) but it's where the heroes are in some sort of alternative reality - Lex is a big fat crook, ect... Well Diamond UK has alot of pvc sets available still so I would imagine alot of the later ones, would still be gettable for any retailers.
Also has lists for the DC direct figures and Pocket Heroes. Plus lots of pictures of them as well. I'm after the 1st JSA pvc set myself. IP: Logged |

There was a Preacher set, and I thought there was a 3rd JSA set too. I'll probably be looking to sell my first two JSA sets and the New Teen Titans set on eBay soon (once I can get to that part of the basement again) -- I just don't have room to display them anymore. All my shelf space is shifting to actual reading material. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Thanks, everyone, for the tips & great info. I really appreciate it. That acevedo site has even better photos than DC direct !! For Bear Paws: since you plan to sell 3 PVC sets, may I contact you? I need your e-mail address, mine is in my profile. By the way, I'm 3 counties south of you. Thanks again to all. Cheers, Will C. IP: Logged |

The third JSA set has Alan Scott and Jay Garrick, who were kept out of the first two sets because they were in the previously released GL and Flsah sets. The other 5 slots in this JSA set are taken up by villains. There is no separate villain set. IP: Logged |
